TU Delft: Superbus is public transport alternative

TU Delft sent a report detailing the conclusions of the first phase of the Superbus program to the Ministry of Economic Affairs. "We demonstrated that Superbus is a global, sustainable public transport alternative," TU Delft Professor Wubbo Ockels said. "The government should incorporate Superbus in its decisions on numerous infrastructure projects." The Superbus transport system is based on buses that are able to travel at high speeds (150 - 250 km/hour) on dedicated 'Supertracks', and at normal speeds on existing roads. Read more: Eurogates.
