NHTV Breda University: BA in International Hotel Management

The hospitality industry revolves around one goal: profitable operations by servicing guests in such a manner that they are able to enjoy their stay to the fullest. As a result, not just anyone is qualified to work in this branch: you have to be open-minded, flexible and culturally aware, determined and self-confident. In addition, you need to have team spirit and excellent communication skills. A good education is indispensable in this respect. NHTV's International Hotel Management School Breda offers you a good start!

The International Hotel Management course is a practice-oriented programme focusing on management, marketing, commercial operations, information and communicationtechnology. The curriculum is constructed in an innovative manner. The concept of 'action learning' is at the heart, which means that a great deal of independence and responsibility is expected from the students.
Lecturers mainly act as coaches. Students have a limited number of 'supervised' classes per week. The remaining hours are dedicated to working independently or in a group on assignments - either school-related or secured from the industry. Theoretical knowledge is directly applied to real-life situations. You will learn to be resourceful, to take initiatives, to co-operate, to deliberate, to report and to present.
