Foк application to the NHTV Breda University the following documents should be attached to the application form:

• Certified copies of all your secondary school and university diplomas and transcripts in the original language and with an official translation (English, French, German, Spanish or Dutch)
• Certificates regarding English language examinations taken
• Motivation letter
• Curriculum vitae / Résumé (in English)
• Proof of payment of the € 82.50 application fee
• Copy of your valid passport: only the pages containing your personal data and expiry date) or EU identity card (both sides)
• Copy of both sides of your valid residence permit (in case you officially reside in the Netherlands)
• Recommendation letters – in case of work experience (original letter)

If you are still attending school

you are requested to enclose relevant information regarding the different subjects, levels, hours, etc., and a statement from your school regarding your latest results.

If you are still attending university, you are requested to enclose a transcript of your results to date. Please forward your final transcripts as soon as they are available.

Certifying copies of your originals

The required copies of school certificates and / or degrees should be certified by the issuing school or university as genuine copies of the original; you can also have copies certified at any notary public office.

Please note that applications without original statements or certified evidence of study results will not be taken into consideration. Official translations The diplomas and transcripts should be officially translated by an accredited translator (or the issuing school / university); the translation should be attached to the original by the translator.

Application fee

Payment of the non-refundable € 82.50 application fee should be made by direct account transfer to the following account: International English

Language Tests

IELTS -  International English Language Testing System Organised by the British Council: www.ielts.org

Required test result: an overall band of at least 6.0 (Academic Band)

TOEFL - Test of English as a Foreign Language Organised by the ETS in the USA: www.toefl.org

Required test result: a minimum test score of 550 paper-based, 213 computer-based or 79 internet-based.

The NHTV Breda University of Applied Sciences TOEFL code number is 9035. The score should be sent directly to NHTV.
