Hanze Institute of technology offers a 3 or 4 year Bachelor programme in Advanced Sensor Applications (ASA). ASA is aimed at talented students who want to become innovation leaders in the field of sensor technology. Sensors affect and benefit the lives of billions worldwide.
Cost of education programme:
The tuition fees for enrolment in the academic year 2012/2013 are:
EU/EEA - € 1.771per year and for NON-EU/EEA - € 7.679 per year (scholarshipsare available!)
Admission for a 4 year programme
International students are eligable for ASA programme if
- they have a diploma comparable to the Dutch HAVO (higher general secondary education) level or higher.
- the qualifications at this level must include mathematics and physics and preferably chemistry and/or biology.
Students who possess a International Baccalaureate Diploma that includes examinations in Mathematics (HL) and Physics (HL) are eligible for the programme.It is strongly recommended, when possible, to complete Chemistry courses (HL) too.
As HIT is an international school, a comprehensive understanding of English is a must. If you have taken an IELTS test, the required score is 6.0, with no subscores below 5.5.
Completion of an English language test is not necessary for students for native speakers or when education has been exclusively conducted in English and completed in): Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, United Kingdom or USA, as well as students who possess an International Baccalaureate Diploma.
Admittance directly into the 3 year main phase
Talented students may be eligible for admission directly into the three year main phase, thereby reducing study time by one year.
