Our international office offers many services ranging from assistance during the application procedure, arrange accommodation, information about Holland and Stenden University and all other organisational matters. Our purpose is to make you feel at home. Stenden University provides fully furnished accommodation for international students. All rooms have internet access.

You will be able to take classes alongside students from all over the world and in the same time gain first hand experience of the famous Dutch problem based learning educational system (PBL). 

Study abroad exchange programmes

Stenden University Netherlands offers Study Abroad Programmes (Exchange programmes) to students and graduates from universities around the world. Unique minors are offered and students can gain credits at the Stenden University for either one semester or a full academic year. Students can choose from unique minors like for example Adventure Tourism, Cruise Management and Real Estate Management or learn the secrets of European Retailing.

For who is Study Abroad (Exchange)? 

The study abroad (exchange) programme is designed for second, third or fourth year students currently enrolled at universities as well as graduates of diploma and Bachelor courses. The Study Abroad Programme (exchange) enables current students to combine a period of residence abroad with an educational programme. You will gain academic credit towards your degree in your country of origin. 

The programme

Our Study Abroad (exchange) Programmes commences twice a year, in the autumn (fall) and spring semesters. One semester consists of two minors. You can choose to come for one or two semesters. Students choosing to come for two semesters have the opportunity to follow their second semester at campus sites in Qatar, Thailand, South Africa or Bali.

All students will start with an introduction week, introducing them to the Problem based Learning educational approach and to the Dutch culture.
