The Language Centre / Inter Consultancy Bureau organises language courses for companies, government bodies, Leiden University students and staff, and other interested members of the public.

The Language Centre / Inter Consultancy Bureau organises language courses for companies, government bodies, Leiden University students and staff, and other interested members of the public. You can register for a scheduled group course or order a custom-made course which is entirely tailored to suit your wishes. In addition the Language Centre / Inter Consultancy Bureau offers facilities for self tuition.

General language courses

The general language courses are mainly oriented towards learning the four communication skills speaking, listening, writing and reading. Of course we also focus upon grammar and vocabulary advancement.

Business language courses

The following themes (depending on the language level of the course members) are dealt with in the business language courses:making and maintaining contacts, making appointments, conference and meeting skills, time management, placing orders, and people management.

Self tuition

The Language Centre / Inter Consultancy Bureau offers facilities for self tuition. The classroom opposite the reception desk of the Language Centre / Inter Consultancy Bureau, location Cleveringaplaats, contains 8 computers equipped with special software facilitating a combination of recording and listening.
