After Saxion Universities of Applied Sciences, several representatives of the Universiteit van Amsterdam Business School (ABS) and The Hague University of Applied Sciences visited us on different occasions.

Ed van der Lelij, International Programmes Manager at ABS, visited Moscow during the World MBA Tour in March. He introduced a new Amsterdam MBA scholarship especially for Russians. He also presented an information session on studying for an MBA or a Master’s in International Finance (MIF) at his institution. His visit to Neso Russia included an introduction to the MBA market in Russia.

A few weeks after Van der Lelij’s visit Jeroen Ligterink, Director of the Master’s Programme in International Finance at ABS, came to Russia for a series of interviews with Russian candidates hoping to study in Amsterdam, having applied for the special scholarship. ABS is also looking to set up joint degree programmes MBA and MIF with Russian counterparts.

Jacqueline van Marle, Senior Marketing & Communications Advisor at The Hague University of Applied Sciences also travelled to Russia for the World MBA Tour. Like Ed van der Lelij of ABS, she also gave Neso Russia staff a presentation about her institution, its programmes and its activities.

Three weeks later her colleague Duke Meijman visited Neso Russia. Meijman is a lecturer in Russian and Russian Studies and coordinator of exchange and internship in Russia at HEBO (The Hague School for European Studies). She was visiting her institution’s partner universities and its Dutch students and interns in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Pskov. Meijman talked to Neso Russia staff about cooperation in placing interns with Dutch companies and organizations in Russia.

TU Eindhoven has asked Neso Russia for assistance in organizing a visit to Russia by its rector in November this year.
