We had a brilliant summer in Amsterdam! At 13 August we took part in English group courses at a Language School in Amsterdam. Our English has improved enormously in only 2 weeks.

We were nervous a little bit deciding to go to Amsterdam to study English (because the official language is Dutch), but it turned out that all most all the Dutch speak easily English not only in Amsterdam but even in small cities throughout the Netherlands. We have learned a lot since we’ve been here and the teachers are very friendly, open and caring.

At first we thought that 6 hours per day would be too much but, because each lessons was different and because the method of teaching was so enjoyable, we knew after a few days that this was the right course for us.

This school offers something for all tastes and the atmosphere as well as the staff is fantastic!!! It taught us a lot about a wonderful Dutch culture. At school we met people from all over the world.

There were 8 students in our group: 3 Dutch guys: 2 from Amsterdam and 1 from Leiden, 3 ladies from Bolivia, Poland and Belgium and two of us from Russia.  It was really an international experience. //Victoria and Helen, Russia.
