Amsterdam University College (AUC) offers a Bachelor (Honours) degree programme in the liberal arts and sciences which is different from the traditional university programmes. It gives students substantial freedom in designing their own study programme and provides deep specialist knowledge in the subjects that interest them most.
When planning to study at AUC, students need to remember that there are two main categories of costs they have to cover: AUC fees and living expenses. Students with excellent school results and high motivation can apply for the AUC Scholarship to cover their expenses in full or in part. Students who are planning to fund their studies themselves, can get an estimate of the cost of studying at AUC below.
| All in euro, per year | academic year 2012-2013 | |

Students should remember that the actual costs of staying in Amsterdam will vary depending on their personal lifestyle. For example, eating out in a restaurant or going out on Friday night can turn to be very expensive and the costs of such kind should be calculated separately. Apart from that, students should also budget some money for such unexpected expenses as buying a new bike or repairing a laptop.
