Avans Scholarship for Best Performing Non-EEA Students

Avans University of Applied Sciences offers for talented and excellent students special grant: Avans Scholarship Programme for Best Performing Non-EEA Foreign Students who follow Bachelor or Master programmes.

Avans University of Applied Sciences offers for talented and excellent students special grant: Avans Scholarship Programme for Best Performing Non-EEA Foreign Students who follow Bachelor or Master programmes.

Scholarships will be available to approximately 80 top-ranking eligible students for all Avans study programmes.

Criteria for the Avans Scholarship Programme:

  • The student paid an institutional tuition fee of € 4,500 or more for the current academic year.
  • The student has obtained at least 60 ECTS during this academic year

The student is eligible to receive a maximum of two scholarships during my entire study programme at Avans University of Applied Sciences.

How do I apply for the AVANS Scholarship Programme?

It is not necessary to apply personally for a scholarship. By registering as a non-EEA student for a bachelor’s or master’s study programme at Avans University of Applied Sciences the students automatically apply for this grant.

At the end of each academic year, the Avans Scholarships for Best Performing Foreign Students will be automatically awarded to the top-ranking eligible students.

What is the scholarship amount?

The maximum Avans scholarship is € 3,000 per year for the best performing students who have paid the institutional tuition fee of € 7,650.

If you receive a discount on the institutional tuition fee of less than the maximum scholarship, you will only be eligible for a maximum amount of € 3,000 minus this discount.

Please note: if you receive a scholarship, it will only be granted as a discount on the tuition fee for the re-enrolment in the next academic year. Avans scholarships are never paid in cash or transferred to a bank account.

Avans University of Applied Sciences will be temporarily offering this scholarship programme for the period of 2009 – 2011.At present it cannot be guaranteed the scholarship programme will be continued afterwards.
