Naomi Polhaupessy, second-year student of International Media and Entertainment Management:
‘I chose this programme at the NHTV University of Breda, because I love to work in the media and entertainment production field. Operating the camera, editing, being creative and trying to brainstorm a way to a new product.
At the end of the first year, students go on a field trip to the USA.
This trip lasts three weeks and during these three weeks, students set up a television show which will actually be broadcast live. So, this includes pre-production, production and post-production. It is really hard work, also in the evening hours.
You attend classes in presentation, camera work, editing and script-writing. In the weekends you go to Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon and Sedona. This field trip will no doubt provide you with a lot of practical skills and a memorable experience to last a lifetime.'
NHTV University Breda offers new BA programme in the fiels of Media and Entertainment Management.
