Leading law schools of the Netherlands join the forces

The Netherlands gains a prominent place in the world of law education. Six leading law schools of Holland joined their forces and launched a consortium of law studies.

Leiden Unversity in HollandThe Netherlands gains a prominent place in the world of law education. Six leading law schools of Holland joined their forces and launched a consortium for law studies.

The aim of the consortium is to promote law educational programmes and provide information about Dutch universities offering studies in field of jurisprudence.

The participating universities of the union, which offer law education in the Netherlands, are University of Groningen, Utrecht University, Erasmus University Rotterdam, Tilburg University, Leiden University and Radboud University Nijmegen.

Reasons to study law in Netherlands:

  • Education is conducted in English and easy to follow;
  • Bachelor, Master and LLM programmes designed for international students;
  • The quality assurance followed is strict;
  • The Hague, the legal spot of the world. Here are situated many international courts as International Court of Justice; the Permanent Court of Arbitration; War Crimes Tribunal; the European judicial and police organizations Eurojust and Europol;
  • The Netherlands is one of the founders of the EU and European laws;
  • University professors often consults on difficult legal cases.

Being located close the countries with rich judical system, as Belgium, France and Luxembourg, the Netherlands is a legal center  of Europe. The Netherlands is a home to number of international companies and a place that solves international disputes. That's why it is the right country to study legal sciences.
