NHTV University famous for its significant experience and expertise in providing high-quality education in tourism has joined forces with Wageningen University to develop a unique academic programme. Bachelor of Science Programme in Tourism is designed for students willing to gain deeper insights in tourism from the scientific perspective.
Students of the Bachelor of Science Programme will study tourism as a complex phenomenon and approach it from the interdisciplinary perspective. They will be prepared to contribute to the scientific research on sustainable tourism development and analysis from the economic, social and environmental perspective.
Bachelor of Science Programme in Tourism takes three years to complete. The first year is taught entirely in Breda. The second year includes participation in an international project in South-East Asia. The third year students will spend in Wageningen working on their Bachelor’s thesis and following a minor of their choice.
