Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences offers its International Business Administration (IBA) students 8 different options for completing a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree. All IBA programmes at the university consist of 3 phases, divided into six-week blocks. This unique block system allows prospective students to join their chosen course 6 times a year.
Business administration tends to lead students into careers at high levels of management within companies. The knowledge and skills learned throughout the programme will aid students in becoming successful business leaders and entrepreneurs of the international business world.
Wittenborg’s block system
IBA Bachelor’s programmes at Wittenborg UAS last 4 years and consist of three phases: theory & knowledge, understanding & planning, and strategy & practice. Each phase is equal to 80 ECTS credits.
The first and second phases are split into 6 six-week blocks. During the last phase, IBA students have only 2 of these blocks per year in order to have enough time for their 3 months internship and to catch up on any incomplete modules.
Study blocks consist of the following parts: 2 lesson weeks, a project week, another 2 lesson weeks, and an examination week. These blocks usually cover 2-3 core topics (modules), each of which is taught for around 24 hours, divided up during lesson weeks as two 3 hour sessions. Project weeks are based on consultancy assignments provided by companies that partner with the university. Exams and assessments are held during the last week of a block.
International Business Administration students at Wittenborg UAS can choose from the following pathways:
- Marketing & Communication,
