University of Amsterdam, one of the largest and most reputed research universities in Europe, invites you to visit the capital of the Netherlands and participate in their Master’s Day event, scheduled on Saturday, November 1st, 2014.

This event is an excellent opportunity to find out more about Master’s programmes at UvA and any practical matters related to your international study!

If you’re considering studying abroad, the University of Amsterdam is definitely an option you should not overlook. In 2014, the QS ranking placed UvA at 50th place worldwide, giving it the best score out of all Dutch research universities. UvA ranked especially high in the fields of Communication, Media Studies, Medicine, Linguistics, Sociology, and Law. The THE World University Rankings 2013 also included UvA in their top 100.

The University of AmsterdamDuring the Master’s Day, you can visit presentations from Master’s programmes for the 2014-2015 academic year and find answers for all of your important questions in the conversations with students and staff at the information fair, such as the application procedure, scholarships, living expenses, visas, housing, insurance, working perspectives, and more.

You can also take part in the ‘Discover the UvA’ programme, created specially for international students as a feature of the Master’s Day. This afternoon event will take you on a boat through the canals of Amsterdam with current students and staff of the university. You will be able to ask any new questions you may have during the tour. The boattrip will be concluded with an informal drink.
