On its efforts to connect with the most remarkable global talents, Nyenrode Business Universiteit organizes On-Campus Business Games. On-Campus Business Game is an on-site competition where talents from all over the world get together at Nyenrode’s 13th Century estate to solve a real-life business case.
This competition involves team-work, networking, workshops and a great determination to become the winner of a full-tuition revolving scholarship worth 24,000 EUR for Nyenrode Master of Science in Management full-time program starting in August 2013.

Valeria Dinershteyn from Russia, the winner of On-Campus Business Game December 2012 edition, shared her story of being a part of this exceptional experience which reinforced her to proactively pursue her dreams:
“From an early age I have been steadfastly focused on earning the opportunity to somehow excel at something – be it academically, in the sporting world or in another sphere. Over the years I have applied for and taken part in numerous scholarships, competitions, internships, etc.
Indeed the rollercoaster of successes and inevitable failures in this endeavour has taught me a great deal and moulded me into the person I am today. Perhaps most importantly, I do not fear failure and this lends me an incredible determination to pursue every opportunity with vigour, however slim the chances of success may be.
These experiences eventually led me to the doors of Nyenrode Business University on December, 14, 2012. I arrived hopeful but, at the same time, not particularly expecting to win but willing to take the chance. My very first impressions of the University immediately told me that such an institution must attract people from a diverse and intriguing backgrounds – just the kind of people I love to meet.
I will most probably remember the intense day and a half that ensued for quite some time. The team work was incredibly intense and the results we produced felt like our cherished baby – perfect in all respects (which was probably not 100% true, but it sure felt like it!).
Preparing our presentation and presenting (which my team kindly gave me the honor to do) and the nervous half hour afterwards were invaluable experiences for me. Throughout I had the palpable feeling that something very important was being decided; I almost felt like holding my breath.
When my team eventually won, we were overcome with a wave of raw, true exhilaration. I would like to claim that as soon as I found out that, out of all the exceptionally gifted participants, I had personally been chosen for the honor of receiving a revolving scholarship, everything became crystal clear; but it wasn’t like this at all.
In fact, I was still in a dreamy haze – immensely grateful and happy, but also gradually realizing my life path was about to radically change. Next August, I will be starting my Master's in Nyenrode Business Universiteit. I believe in chances and opportunities. I believe in being bold and grabbing them with two hands any time they present themselves. I believe in changing, progressing, evolving.
But above all, I believe Nyenrode will be a great step forwards in my life and it’s a step I can’t wait to take.”
