Hanze UAS offers Honours College courses for talented students

Hanze University of Applied Sciences, Groningen, offers motivated students an opportunity to join their honours (talent) programmes, tracks, minors, specialisations, and individual routes, which are considered as a Hanze Honours College. Honours students receive extras in their education and obtain an honours diploma with more value for the labour market.

Students of Hanze University of Applied Sciences, GroningenHanze University of Applied Sciences, Groningen offers motivated students an opportunity to join their honours (talent) programmes, tracks, minors, specialisations, and individual routes. These special programmes are considered to make up the Hanze Honours College. Honours students receive extras in their education and obtain an honours diploma with more value for the labour market.

Students that demonstrate a high motivation and excellent study results or are directly applying for one of the honours programmes may be chosen for the honours route. These students remain within their faculty and programme, but also become part of the Hanze Honours College which offer some additional opportunities.

Students can follow various honours routes. They can pursue an honours Bachelor’s programme, enrol in the honours option of a regular programme, or select an honours track, specialisation, or individual course. Any of these options will significantly boost the impact of their education and accelerate their future career.

Awards of the Sensor Technology Honours programme

One of the most innovative Honours programmes is the Sensor Technology Bachelor’s programme (former Advanced Sensor Application) at Hanze’s Institute of Technology. The Dutch-Flemish Accreditation Organisation (NVAO) has accredited this programme with their ‘GOOD’ quality standard. The 2014 Keuzegids student guide has also called it a ‘Top Rated Programme’ for the second year in a row.
