Experience Hanze UAS’ programmes first-hand during tag-along days

The School of Communication, Media and IT at Hanze University of Applied Sciences, Groningen, invites you to join current university students and become one of them for one day. You can choose from the three English-taught Bachelor’s courses, available at the school.

Students of the School of Communication, Media and IT at Hanze UAS, GroningenThe School of Communication, Media, and IT at Hanze University of Applied Sciences, Groningen, invites you to visit the campus and become a student for a day. You will join current university students during a regular school day to experience first-hand what it would be like to study at Hanze UAS. There are three English-taught Bachelor’s courses available to choose from for this event.

Participation in a “tag-along day” is the best way to make a weighted decision about your future programme. You will get the chance to experience student life, feel the atmosphere at the school, and find out what studying at Hanze UAS is really all about.

The best part is that you won't be alone! A student that is currently studying at the university will become your guide for that day, showing you around and answering your questions. You will visit lectures and seminars together so that you can become acquainted with what it would be like to be enrolled in the programme of your choice.

Choose your programme

There are three international undergraduate programmes available at the School of Communication, Media, and IT and you can join any of them. The programmes are:

While the first two programmes are already quite well known by students and employers, the third one is a new Bachelor’s course offered this year for the first time. The HBO-ICT programme is 4 years long and prepares students to become consultants, analysts, scientists, managers, and other specialists in the intersecting areas of Business and IT. The resulting Major in Business IT and Management has already attracted many prospective students. Dutch companies have also shown an interest in working with students enrolled in the programme as the demand for business-minded ICT professionals in today’s business world continues to rise.

Pick your date

The School of Communication, Media, and IT at Hanze UAS has several tag-along days scheduled in Groningen throughout the year. Upcoming events are on the following dates:

  • Friday, 16th January, 2015,
  • Friday, 20th February, 2015,
  • Thursday, 19th March, 2015,
  • Thursday, 23rd April, 2015.
