The University of Amsterdam (UvA) will be hosting a series of webinars covering various aspects of studying at the university. These online information sessions are organised for prospective international students who aren’t able to visit the university’s Open Days in Amsterdam.
The next webinar is scheduled for Tuesday, February 17th, 2015. During this event UvA Student Counsellor Jeanette Eindhoven will talk about the Master’s programmes offered at UvA in September, 2015. Scholarships, housing, immigration, and insurance will also be covered, as well as any subjects brought up by the webinar attendees via the online chat.
UvA’s webinar is one hour long. An additional half an hour is scheduled afterwards for any remaining questions that are submitted through the chat feature.
Prepare for the UvA webinar
This information session will be especially relevant for future UvA Master’s students who have already started their application process or have been accepted into a programme. More general topics, such as admission and application procedures, were discussed at the previous webinar, ”Studying at UvA”, which can be viewed via the UvA website.
It is highly recommended for attendees to view the first UvA webinar before attending the one in February. Students joining the discussion who have already watched the first webinar will be much more prepared and will be able to delve deeper into the topics that will be covered.
