HAN University of Applied Sciences invites you to visit the Netherlands this summer and attend the university’s short course “Doing Business in Europe”. This 3-week course will be held from 24th June to 15th July, 2017, and will be taught entirely in English.
The “Doing Business in Europe” course at Arnhem Business School, HAN UAS, was originally designed for Bachelor’s students of HAN’s partner universities. Due to its success it is now open for every business student or practitioner, and you can learn about European and Dutch ways of doing business at one of the leading universities of applied sciences in the Netherlands.
Course content
The course curriculum combines theoretical and practical classes, site visits, meetings with local entrepreneurs, and working on The Quest, an individual project needed for the final exam. Upon course completion you will become familiar with various cultural and economical aspects of EU countries. You will be able to efficiently adjust your marketing strategy to needs of consumers in different European countries and build a successful enterprise.
Practical information
The course “Doing Business in Europe” starts on 24th June and ends on 15th July, 2017. An overall study load is 75 hours, including classes, excursions, company visits, and examination, plus about 25 hours of self study.
The language of instruction is English, and students from non-English speaking countries must prove their language proficiency level of at least IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
Course fee is € 2,500 (€ 1,500 for Bachelor’s students of partner institutions). This sum includes costs of accommodation, transportation services, excursion to the European Parliament, social events, and medical insurance for the duration of the course. Students from outside of EU/EEA will also have to arrange a short stay visa to travel to the Netherlands.
The application deadline for the course is 1st April, 2017.
