International study in Amsterdam

The IBA programme in Entrepreneurship and Small Business at Wittenborg prepares students for a career as an independent, serial, or corporate entrepreneur. Key disciplines include Family and Corporate Business, Management, Marketing, Branding, Finance, Consumer Behaviour, and Languages. Students learn from real business cases and apply solutions directly into practice. Upon course completion, grads are ready to start their own enterprise.

Amsterdam is an ideal location for studying Small Business and Entrepreneurship as it is known to be one of the world’s top international and innovative cities. The Dutch capital is also considered to be among the best student cities in the world, according to the QS Best Student Cities ranking. Amsterdam was recently named the 4th most sustainable city worldwide in the 2015 ARCADIS ranking.

Wittenborg University’s students can choose to live in the Student Hotel during their studies. This specialised accommodation contains learning facilities that create an ideal environment for professional and personal development.

Info sessions and business games

Wittenborg University organises informational events at its Amsterdam location to help prospective students choose the right programme for their study in the Netherlands. During these event, prospective students will be able to attend programme presentations, explore the university’s facilities, and talk to current students and staff. The events include info sessions and business games designed to provide students with the first-hand experience necessary to make an informed decision regarding their study. Moreover, the winners of Wittenborg Business Games will receive a scholarship for the IBA programme worth €10,000!

  • Thursday, February 2nd, 19:30 — 21:00;
  • Thursday, May 11th, 19:30 — 21:00.

Next Business Games:

  • Saturday, April 8th, 10:00 — 16:00;
  • Saturday, June 17th, 10:00 — 16:00.

Wittenborg University

Wittenborg is a private university of applied sciences with accreditation from NVAO and other international organisations. 500 students from 75 nationalities attend the institution. The university’s main campus is located in Apeldoorn. It’s Bachelor’s programme in Entrepreneurship and Small Business is taught at the Amsterdam campus.

Wittenborg specialises in business related studies. The university offers 10 International Business Administration (IBA) programmes at the Bachelor’s level which can be started 6 times a year due to the school’s unique “block” structure. It also offers 3 Master’s programmes in cooperation with the University of Brighton, UK, and an MBA programme. All of the courses offered at Wittenborg University are taught in English.
