Students at Arnhem Business SchoolHAN University of Applied Sciences offers four English-taught Bachelor’s programmes at Arnhem Business School in the fields of Business, Finance, Logistics, and Communication. Students applying at the school don’t have to choose one particular course right away. They can also make the selection later after completing a more general International First Year.

While some prospective students know their study preferences well, others are interested in a broader area. For example, some students may know that they want to "become an entrepreneur", but are not set on which study to focus on. There is always a chance that they initially choose the wrong programme and decide to change their study route later on. Although this change is possible, it costs students extra time and effort as they have to study new topics to catch up to fellow students.

To facilitate programme selection, Arnhem Business School offers an International First Year. All first-year students study aspects of Business, Finance, Logistics, and Communication and then choose one particular course to continue with. At that point, students already know what each study path entails and can make a more accurate selection based on their particular interests.

Bachelor’s programmes at Arnhem Business School

The International Business and Management Studies programme familiarises entrepreneurs with all aspects of international business. This programme is best suited for open-minded students who want to work in foreign countries, meet new people, face diverse challenges, and build an extensive professional network.

The Communication programme prepares marketers, responsible for promoting a company and building its reputation. Students learn how to define and reach target groups, set up advertising campaigns, and work with social media networks.

The Finance and Control programme prepares specialists who work with objective facts and numbers. They gather and analyse data and advise a company’s administration regarding investments and any other important decisions. These specialists can be referred to as the company’s conscience.

The Logistics Management (Economics) programme prepares organisers of international supply chains. Students learn to bring people and process together, making sure company operations are happening as intended. Graduates become problem solvers that are confident in any situation.
