Starting September 2016, Saxion University of Applied Sciences offers an innovative new Master in Applied Nanotechnology. The 2-year programme offers extensive theoretical and practical knowledge of all disciplines related to design, laboratory and manufacturing techniques.

Saxion encourages students to develop an entrepreneurial, creative and inquisitive mindset. Graduates from the school’s new master programme will master the skills needed to develop innovative product-market combinations and production processes.

Throughout the programme, the design, construction and testing of new products and processes are closely linked with the creation of added value for users. By the end of the master programme you will be an accomplished creative thinker who pushes the boundaries during the design phase to find new opportunities to apply nanotechnological expertise.

Nanotechnology is a field of study that is rapidly developing. The possibilities are almost endless and this Master in Applied Nanotechnology prepares students for a wide range of technical careers such as Product Development Engineer, Project Engineer, Process Engineer or R&D Engineer from a design-oriented perspective.
