Wittenborg will teach students how to manage sports companies

Sport is a complex industry which involves political, corporate, and commercial interests. Billions of people watch sport competitions every year and their numbers continue to grow. The Master’s programme in Sport Business Management at Wittenborg University aims to prepare specialists capable of organising competitions or events at every level. Students will study Marketing, Commerce, Sponsorship, and Law, and will receive all the tools they need to develop ideas into successful business projects.

Students will gain knowledge and practical skills

Lasting from October to May, the programme’s curriculum will consists of 2-week blocks, each covering one study module. The blocks will consist of lectures, presentations, seminars, and practical projects. Students will learn from recent business cases and work on individual and group assignments. All students will receive guidance from a personal supervisor.

The programme will also include internship opportunities at relevant companies or organisations in the Netherlands and UK such as the Sussex County Cricket Club, Albion in the Community, Neilson Active Holidays, or SwimTrek.

Alumni will obtain Master of Science degrees

The Master’s programme in Sport Business Management at Wittenborg is delivered in cooperation with the University of Brighton in the United Kingdom.
