Student room at Full Force Sports AcademyThis summer, Full Force Sports Academy will open its doors in the Dutch city of Apeldoorn. The school is partnered with Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences and, as a result, will provide several rooms in its dorm for the university’s students.

Finding accommodation in the Netherlands can be a challenging task for international students. Most Dutch student cities are very crowded, with demand for accommodation often not meeting the supply available.

Many students begin their search for a room as soon as they are accepted to a university, but even that doesn’t guarantee that they are able to find suitable housing near campus. Sometimes students have to live in another city and spend a lot of time commuting. In order to help more students find housing, some universities have the opportunity to arrange additional student rooms by making use of partnering facilities — and this is good news for their students!

Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences provides student accommodation in houses, cottages, and Spacebox studios. As of August 25th, 2016, the university will also begin to allocate students to available dorm rooms provided by its partner school, Full Force Sports Academy. Prices for these rooms will start from € 375 per month and will include all fees, as well as access to the Sports Academy facilities. The exact number of rooms available for Wittenborg students has not yet been announced. Therefore, it’s a good idea to apply for one as soon as possible.

Available contracts

Accepted students will be housed in single rooms from 10 to 21 m² of space, with shared bathroom and kitchen facilities. All rooms are furnished and equipped with air conditioning. The standard contract will include Wi-Fi internet, water, gas, electricity, maintenance, and municipal taxes.

There is also an option to include 3 meals a day as part of the contract. Students can rent a room for 6 or 12 months.

Prices for rooms, in euro 6-months contract 12-months contract
With 3 meals a day 3,700 7,100
Without meals 2,400 4,500

All contracts are fixed and once the contract is signed, it cannot be cancelled.
