Radboud University invites prospective students to visit the Netherlands and attend its Open Day event on March 11th, 2017. Attendees will find out everything they need to know about the university’s international Master’s programmes.
Radboud University is a research institution located in Nijmegen, the oldest city in the Netherlands. About 19,000 students study there, 10% of which are international.
With over 130 English-taught Master’s programmes and specialisations in nearly any field of study, Radboud has an excellent reputation. Most reputed global university rankings consistently include Radboud University within the world’s top 200 institutions. In terms of specific fields, Radboud performs best in Business, Economics, Life Sciences, Social Sciences, Computer Sciences, and Humanities.
RU is known for its dedication to quality research, evident by its excellent researchers and staff. In 2010, two professors connected to Radboud University were awarded the Nobel Prize for Physics. In 2012, two other professors received the NWO-Spinoza Prize, the highest national prize awarded to leading researchers in the field of science.
Open Day programme
During the Radboud Open Day, attendees will learn more about Master’s programmes, the university’s teaching methods, and career prospects for graduates.
Prospective students will be able to visit classes and laboratories, walk around Nijmegen, and take a peek at student accommodation. The university’s current teachers and students will also be available to answer questions regarding particular programmes, including admission requirements, application procedures, and potential scholarships.
The Open Day event is scheduled for the 11th of March, from 9:00 to 15:00. The event begins at 9:15 with a compulsory hour-long information session for international students. After that, students will attend the various sessions they chose during the registration process. It’s important to plan the day carefully when registering so that the chosen sessions don’t overlap.
