HAN University of Applied Sciences was named "most innovative institution in 2009”. Why was they selected for this award?


The Life Sciences program trains students for lab research positions in the growing pharmaceutical and biotechnical industry and universities.


A group of first year International Business and Management Studies (IBMS) students from the HAN University of Applied Sciences won the finale of the Twinfield Business Plan Award on 19 February. According to the jury, the students’ ChaMEleon plan excelled in originality, daring and clarity.


Twenty-three year old HAN student Michaela Hogenboom was selected from more than 80 candidates as the new youth representative for Sustainable Development.

Students of the Hogeschool Arnhem en Nijmegen (HAN) in the East of the Netherlands are building a unique rally car, to take part in the world famous Dakar rally in January 2009.


HAN’s newly restyled English-language site is now available online. In October last year, the new Dutch-language HAN site went live and work began immediately on redoing the English-language site. The results are now live.


Between 19 and 26 May 2008, students from all over the world will gather in Nijmegen to compete in cross country, mountain bike marathon, individual time trial and road race cycling events. The WUC Cycling 2008 and the HAN share a passion for sport.
