Dutch universities has began to accept applications for the Holland Scholarships. Within the framework of this bursary, 768 non-EEA international students enrolled in certain Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes at Dutch universities in the 2017-2018 study year will receive a one-time grant worth € 5,000.


This spring, Nuffic Neso’s regional offices will begin to carry out entrance examination for overseas prospective students applying at Dutch universities. The exams will assess knowledge in Math and disciplines related to Business studies.


The “Hoi Holland!” app was recently launched, allowing students to learn the basics of the Dutch language quickly and easily through the palm of their hand, before they even arrive in the country. The app is designed to help students from abroad connect with the Dutch language, culture, and people early on in order to make their transition to living in the Netherlands much smoother.


Nuffic, the Dutch organisation responsible for cooperation among higher education institutions at home and abroad, recently released the results of a survey called Student Pulse. Over two thousand international students in 8 countries were all asked various questions regarding their interest to study at a higher education institution in the Netherlands.


Nuffic, the Dutch organisation dedicated to international cooperation at the higher education level, offers a collection of scholarships called the Orange Tulip Scholarships. These grants are awarded from various Dutch higher education institutions, multinationals, and government institutes to non-EU/EEA students from certain countries.



Attracting international students after graduation and encouraging alumni to return to Holland for work, is an important contribution to the Dutch economy based on knowledge and intellectual skills. To make it easier for alumni to find information on work opportunities in Holland, Nuffic is launching a new business and career portal.


Dutch Nuffic and the Brazilian national Council for Scientific and technological Development (CNPq) established the Science without Borders scholarship programme which offers possibilities for Brazilians to study in the Netherlands.
