The School of Communication, Media and IT at Hanze University of Applied Sciences, Groningen, invites you to join current university students and become one of them for one day. You can choose from the three English-taught Bachelor’s courses, available at the school.


As of the 2015-2016 academic year, international students enrolling in a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme at NHTV Breda University of Applied Sciences need to apply via the university’s website in addition to their Studielink submission.


The University of Amsterdam (UvA) invites interested students to visit the Netherlands’ capital city on February 16th-20th, 2015, to take part in the university’s Master’s Week. During this event, visitors will be able to explore UvA’s graduate programmes in order to help them choose the one that suits their goals best.


Hanze University of Applied Sciences, Groningen received positive feedback from both international and Dutch students in 2014. StudyPortal awarded the university with a Certificate for Excellent International Student Satisfaction while the Elsevier Magazine rankings, based on the annual National Student Questionnaire, named Hanze UAS the 3rd best medium-sized professional university in the Netherlands.


Tilburg University offers numerous bursaries to new international students that have applied for a research Master’s (MSc, MA or LLM) programme at one of its four schools. In many cases these scholarships partially cover living expenses and also can function as a tuition waiver for non-EU students paying an institutional fee.



Amsterdam University College has updated information about costs and fees for the 2015-2016 academic year. These costs consist of tuition fees for the Liberal Arts and Sciences programme and approximate accommodation and living expenses for students studying in Amsterdam.


Students at Amsterdam University College do not need to arrange their own accommodation. For all three years of their Bachelor’s Liberal Arts and Sciences (LAS) programme they are provided with an apartment at the AUC student residence.


The 2015 edition of the Keuzegids HBO rankings has been published, identifying top institutions that offer professional higher education in the Netherlands. According to this ranking, NHTV Breda is the best large university of applied sciences in the country.


In May, 2015 the Netherlands will celebrate the 70th anniversary of liberation from World War II German occupation. Canadian soldiers played a significant role in liberating the country. In honour of their part, the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in cooperation with Nuffic, is working towards creating a scholarship programme specifically for Canadian students.
