Nuffic, the Dutch organisation dedicated to international cooperation at the higher education level, offers a collection of scholarships called the Orange Tulip Scholarships. These grants are awarded from various Dutch higher education institutions, multinationals, and government institutes to non-EU/EEA students from certain countries.


NHTV Breda University of Applied Sciences has updated their application deadline for the most of undergraduate programmes, taught in English. As of summer 2014 prospective students from EU/EEA countries may apply until 1st September instead of 1st May.

International student numbers have increased in the Netherlands for the third year in a row. This year saw an increase of 5% for those coming to study full-time, adding 11,756 international students to the student body.
