Leiden University will open their doors and those of the Pieterskerk for the finale of the Netherlands Debating Championship for secondary school students. This debate is being organised for the eighth time by the Netherlands Debating Institute (NDI).

Nyenrode students spend an average of 57 hours per week studying. This is the result of feedback that the university regularly asks from its students.

There is not one ‘University of the Future’ but there are several. Diversity in as wel education programmes as teaching methods will remain essential in the future. Because exactly that diversity makes it interesting to participate in exchange programmes and to cross boundaries.

RSM Erasmus University gets Best Marketing Practise Award

RSM Erasmus Unviversity has won this year’s Best Marketing Practise Award from the London-based Association of MBAs. The award-winning essay submission, entitled “Behind Every Good Woman is a Great MBA”, was written in response to one of the potential categories of this year’s competition, “Implementing an International MBA Recruitment Campaign”.

Kit-Yee (Kitty) Man is a 5th-year master's student of International Economics and Finance at Tilburg University. In summer 2005, she participated in the Miss Hong Kong Beauty Pageant, was selected as a semi-finalist (top 10) in the competition and was voted 3rd by the public.

Leiden University Honours Programme 2005-2006 offers thirteen honours classes in different fields of study. Each Honours Class consists of twelve lectures held in English that include the active participation of the students attending.

A doubling of the number of Honours Classes and advanced plans for more extensive Honours tracks/programmes. Never before has Leiden University given so much consideration to the gifted student.
