Hanze University of Applied Sciences is about to open application for its new Master of Science programme in Business Studies. The programme will be taught in English in the best Dutch student city, Groningen, and will begin in September 2018.


Hanze University of Applied Science, Groningen offers Master’s programmes in Business, Engineering, Communication, Arts, and Music. The programmes are taught in English and take 1 to 1.5 years to complete.


Nintendo Benelux organised a Super Mario Maker competition that revealed some of the best current Game designers. Leroy Freeth won the competition (and took home a brand new Wii-U console!) after building the most creative and playable level for Nintendo’s game. Leroy is a 2nd year Bachelor’s student enrolled in the Game Design & Development programme at Hanze University of Applied Science, Groningen.


Hanze University of Applied Sciences, Groningen introduces a new English-taught study programme: the European Master’s in Sustainable Energy System Management (SESyM). Students will be able study at institutions in the Netherlands, Italy, and Spain. The course will be offered as of September 2016 and will take 16 months to complete.



Hanze University of Applied Sciences, Groningen will begin to offer a new undergraduate programme in Marketing Management as of September 2016. The study will be taught in English and will take 4 years to complete.


Hanze University of Applied Sciences, Groningen, offers motivated students an opportunity to join their honours (talent) programmes, tracks, minors, specialisations, and individual routes, which are considered as a Hanze Honours College. Honours students receive extras in their education and obtain an honours diploma with more value for the labour market.


Hanze University of Applied Sciences, Groningen features free massive open online course (MOOC) in Economics at an introductory level. This is the first time when such course is offered at a Dutch higher education institution, including both universities of applied sciences and research universities. The course will start on 3rd May, 2015.


Hanze University of Applied Science organises the Intensive Summer Prep Course in Groningen for new undergraduate students, coming to the Netherlands from abroad. During this 2-week course you will familiarise with the Dutch culture and education methods, sharpen your communication skills, and participate in the social programme.
