Higher education in the Netherlands is expensive while finding scholarship or grant for studying can be a challenging task. One of the ways of paying tuition fees and student life costs could be borrowing finances from the Dutch government. It is possible for EU students under 30 of age, who is going to stay in the Netherlands after graduation.


Wittenborg University offers 4 international Master’s programmes in Hospitality, Tourism, Event, and Sport Business Management. Although the programmes are taught at a university of applied sciences, graduates obtain an academic Master of Science diploma upon course completion.


Gaining new knowledge is an important part of studying, but only learning theory is not enough to prepare for a career. To convert knowledge into professional skills, it is important for students to be able to apply newly gained theory to real-life practice. That is why Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences combines lectures with project weeks, internships, and graduation assignments.


This summer, a new Sports school will be opened in the Dutch city of Apeldoorn, named Full Force Sports Academy. The school is a partner of Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences, and will provide several rooms in its dorm for the university’s students.


Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences provides accommodation for international students in Apeldoorn. There are 3 types of student housing which can be arranged by the university: apartments, houses, and Spacebox studios. To receive a room upon arriving to the Netherlands, students need to request it during application procedure.
